Therapy provides a space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of your experiences. I enjoy supporting people whose lives have been shaped by marginalization, trauma, displacement, or a sense of not fully belonging. I often work with women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, immigrants, relinquished and adopted people, and others whose emotional lives have been influenced by social, cultural, and relational contexts. Emotional suffering is meaningful, not pathological, and in therapy we'll explore how your past and present experiences shape the way you feel and relate to others.
My approach is grounded in psychoanalytic and relational psychotherapy. Together, we'll explore recurring themes in your life, including those that may emerge in the therapeutic relationship. While part of therapy can be about easing immediate distress, I’m especially interested in supporting deeper, lasting change through insight-oriented work.
Over time, this work can provide greater self-understanding, emotional flexibility, and a sense of aliveness where you feel better and more fully yourself.
