Working with people of all ages, I specialize in complex trauma, anxiety, and co-regulation. In over 20 years of clinical work, I’ve focused on helping individuals & families find and practice ways to live regulated, connected, and meaningful lives amidst all the ups & downs of life. Those who work with me tend to be seeking ways to better manage and feel the full range & intensity of their experiences, while honoring their genuine selves. Discomfort is inherent in change, and change is inherent in life. We will move at your pace, as this work is about noticing and realizing the agency you have over your own experiences.
Whether my work is with adults or with children & their families, we explore embodying a way of being that feels right for you. We'll clarify what you want and need, reflect on patterns (both helpful & unhelpful), attend to emotions & sensations, reprocess experiences, and identify your internal & external resources which regulate and support your best self.
I have extensive training on trauma, attachment, and the mind-body connection, and utilize a variety of evidenced-based treatments in my practice. My work is rooted in a therapy relationship that is genuine, accepting, and finds light and joy even in challenging places.
