I strive to create an envirmonment that is safe and non-judgemental so that we can figure out together what needs to happen for you to feel happier and more fulfilled. Through my work, I have seen many people improve their lives and feel better about themselves. In sessions, we will focus on your current situation and explore your past to further understand what may be preventing you from living a happy and fulfilled life.
I work collaboratively with you to assess the problem areas in your life. We will explore your behaviors, thoughts, environmental factors, cultural considerations, and family factors that are contributing to the stress in your life. I will also assess the strengths you already have and build upon them.
Sometimes, I use homework as a tool to continue working on your goals between sessions. I enjoy and have experience working with many issues, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, gay and lesbian identity, infertility, aging and trauma. I am comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds.
