I am a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychotherapy services to adults, adolescents, children, and families. I specialize in short-term treatment and cognitive-behavior therapy for anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and mind-body issues. As a therapist I am caring and approachable, and I strive to balance empathy with an engaged and interactive style. I am multilingual (Spanish and Italian) and enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds. I pride myself in approaching my therapeutic work with a focus on the integration of mind, body and spirit.
I have served as director of a mental health program at a major hospital treating people affected by 9/11; and had faculty appointments at NYU School of Medicine and Columbia. This academic background has allowed me to integrate empirically based methods in my therapeutic work with flexibility and empathy.
I have training in many different treatment modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness.
