Are you tired of your struggle with anxiety? Do you worry or obsess excessively? I specialize in the treatment of all forms of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) using exposure and response prevention (ERP). OCD treatment is short term, being complete in 17-20 sessions, so it does not require years of therapy. I offer treatment in person and online, and can service all areas of Connecticut. Wether your concerns are washing, checking, worries about harming people accidentally or on purpose, unwanted sexual thoughts, religious obsessions or more, I can help.
I am a systems thinker by nature and training. I am experienced working with individuals, couples, families and groups. I take a collaborative and research based approach to therapy. I use evidence based modalities such as DBT and CBT for depression and anxiety.
I have a warm and nurturing presence that creates a therapeutic atmosphere of safety and non-judgement. I will join with your internal world and collaboratively create individualized therapeutic goals. I approach therapy with an open mind and heart and am committed to supporting individual and relational wellness.

Groups
Online OCD Support Group
The OCD Support Group is a small group of male and female adults that have struggled with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or a similar issue. It focuses on issues that can be barriers to treatment progress, such as feelings of isolation, loneliness, social withdrawal, stress, family and relationship discord, untrustworthiness, lack of motivation, difficulty making decisions, and being overwhelmed. This group enables members to recognize that they are not alone with experiencing these issues and begin to build rapport with others and learn healthy coping strategies to feel more empowered in their lives and improve work and social relationships.
