Sometimes, life presents us with painful experiences that can leave us feeling overwhelmed. These unresolved and unhealed wounds can hinder our ability to move forward and live an empowered life. In therapy, my goal is to provide you with a safe space to examine and remove unhelpful patterns from your past, and allow for transformational healing to occur. I incorporate what I have learned from my experience as a clinician at multiple residential eating disorder treatment centers as well as a residential PTSD/trauma treatment center.
I utilize techniques that I have gained through my training in EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to restore a sense of calm within the brain and body. I also utilize other approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, and Expressive Therapy to help my clients heal and embody positive change and radical self-acceptance.
My approach to therapy is grounded on the values of safety, trustworthiness, collaboration, and empowerment to enhance your voice and choice in care. I am passionate about helping you tune into your innate ability to experience restoration in all areas of life. I am also currently offering Telehealth (live-video) sessions through the secure client portal.
