As a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer psychotherapy and evaluation. My therapy clients work with me on a variety of issues, including anxiety & ODD, loss, relationships, adoption, career challenges, and adult ADD. My treatment approaches include psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, and social skills training. Your treatment will be tailored to your culture, communication style, and other personal factors. I avoid gimmicks and trendy ideas that have not been demonstrated effective for long-term change. As a forensic psychologist, I provide evaluations and expert testimony for civil and criminal proceedings, including immigration, adoption, ADA accommodation, guardianship, juvenile competency, and waiver.

I have practiced psychology for over 25 years, after practicing law for a decade. My faculty appointments have included Temple University School of Medicine and PCOM. I served as Program Director of Eating Disorders at Belmont, Clinical Director at NHS, and behavioral health consultant to Philadelphia's Family Court.

In therapy, our goal is to help you change behaviors that interfere with your peace of mind and prevent you from moving forward. For example, you may be in a relationship or a job that brings more misery than joy, but you can't decide whether to stay or leave.
