Clinical Services: Couples counseling, psychotherapy, evaluation, coaching for self-advocacy & other skills, and business consultation to address group conflict. Consultation for mental health providers: clinical supervision; peer consultation; 2nd opinion. Forensic Services: Evaluations, record review, & expert testimony for civil and criminal proceedings.
I have practiced psychology for over 30 years, after practicing law for a decade. My faculty appointments have included Temple University School of Medicine and PCOM. I served as Program Director of Eating Disorders at Belmont, Clinical Director of a facility for severe mental illness at NHS, and behavioral health consultant to Philadelphia's Family Court.
In therapy, my goal is to help you modify thoughts & behaviors that interfere with your peace of mind and prevent you from moving forward. E.g., you may be in a relationship or job that brings more misery than joy, but you can't decide whether to stay or leave. Your treatment will be tailored to your culture, communication style, & other personal factors.
