Let's be honest, motherhood is hard. It is not just you. Motherhood presents unexpected hurdles, from fertility struggles to coping with loss, and the everyday challenges of raising children. Honestly, though, when was the last time you took some time to focus on you and how you are doing with some of these challenges? That's where I come in. I offer a healing space for women from diverse backgrounds to get real around their feelings about motherhood (resentment, guilt, we cover it all!) and to learn practical strategies to manage the demands of parenting. I offer couples counseling for parents to improve intimacy and communication.
As a bilingual/bicultural perinatal mental health and parenting specialist, I offer convenient virtual therapy sessions for women, partners, and couples, to address concerns related to infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting in general. In addition to my clinical work, I am an Associate Professor at the University of Denver, offering supervision.
