Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MDiv, MSW, LCSWA
She/Her/Hers
*Currently accepting new clients!* I work with older adolescents, young adults, and adults of all ages to address concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma & PTSD, grief & loss, guilt & shame, life transitions, LGBTQ+ concerns, and spiritual/religious concerns (including but not limited to recovery from religious trauma, cult experiences, and similar). I especially enjoy working with clients to build emotion regulation, self-care, and self-compassion. I'm wholeheartedly committed to serving clients of any cultural, racial, gender, sexual, or spiritual identity in an inclusive, affirming, and anti-oppressive practice.
In therapy, I enjoy using warmth, humor, and creativity, believing in the healing potential of a good therapeutic relationship. Specifically, I have training in evidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindful Self-Compassion.
A mentor once told me that "asking for help is never weakness, only courage." I understand from personal and professional experience that it can feel daunting to seek therapy sometimes, so I commend you for having the courage to take this step. I invite you to reach out so that we can have an initial conversation about how to best address your needs.
