About
I am equipped to provide individual therapy with older adolescents (16+), young adults (18-30), and adults of all ages. Together, we can address topics including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, life changes/transitions, LGBTQ+ concerns, and spiritual/religious concerns such as religious trauma (i.e. traumatic/stressful experiences that have occurred in religious contexts). Regardless of your presenting concerns, I pursue trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, culturally-sensitive practice to help you build self-awareness, self-acceptance, and coping skills in ways that can work for you in your context.
In therapy, I enjoy using warmth, humor, and creativity, believing in the healing potential of a good therapeutic relationship. Specifically, I have training in evidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and Mindful Self-Compassion.
I understand from personal and professional experience that it can feel daunting to seek therapy sometimes, so I commend you for having the courage to take this step toward your wellbeing. I invite you to reach out so that we can have an initial conversation about how to best address your needs.
