As a Mental Health Counselor who received her Master of Arts from Adelphi University, I utilize primarily DBT and CBT when working with clients. I recognize the uniqueness of each individuals circumstances and aim to cater to their individual needs. I have a wide variety of experience working with children, teens and adults struggling with a variety of mental health issues. Some of these issues include anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ASD, family conflict and life transitions. Providing my clients with unconditional positive regard is very important to me in order to provide a safe and non-judgemental environment.
I offer a humble and down to earth environment in which you can come in and explore any conflicts you are experiencing. We will work together to come up with solutions to these conflicts and develop changes that will accomplish your individual goals.
My goal is to create a space where my clients feel safe, as the therapy room is their own personal journal to express thoughts and feelings freely.
