On the outside, your life seems functional (maybe even successful!) but inside you're disconnected, guarded, and always on edge. You have old wounds, feel estranged from your loved ones, were the “mini-parent”, family problem-solver, or the secret keeper. You may have learned early on to keep difficult things to yourself- manage, minimize, or carry heavy things quietly to stay capable or acceptable to others. Over time, unspoken emotions and unresolved experiences can build pressure, showing up as anxiety, emotional shutdown, or relationship strain.
Therapy offers a place where you don’t have to hold it all together. My work supports people who are motivated to change but worn down by years of managing everything on their own. Together, we make sense of patterns shaped by past experiences so they can loosen their grip and create more flexibility, steadiness, and self-trust.
Our work may include conversation and gentle mind–body approaches. The goal is not to erase the past or eliminate emotions, but to help you feel less consumed by them. Your ways of coping made sense and worked for a long time. But you don’t have carry it alone. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, get curious, and build a life that feels more connected.
