My approach to counseling provides a warm and trusting environment where you as a client can feel seen, heard, and safe while learning to make healthy relationship repairs with yourself and others. Whether you need help processing anxiety, depression, stress, or trauma, an increased sense of safety will give you greater freedom to examine patterns of behavior, thoughts, or emotions causing concern. In therapy, I use a method to achieve the client's goals.
I gravitate toward compassionate counseling approaches and evidence-based practices that emphasize the worth and dignity of the client while seeking to provide practical strategies for managing emotions, fostering increased self-awareness, healthy REPAIRS in relationships, and new problem-solving abilities.
