Welcome! I'm Julia Lieberman.
People want to have meaning and direction in their lives. Yet, sometimes this can be obscured due to stress, anxiety and/or depression and can result in behaviors that keep people from living their most fulfilled life. My passion is helping people live more meaningful lives. I have experience helping with people who have trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, low self-esteem, life transitions, and substance use disorders. Although I offer services to all ages, I primarily work with teens and young adults, and adults.
The first session will be an intake, where I will go in-depth to learn about current issues that you are facing, and how your past and current situation affects your attempt to deal with these issues. Once I get to know more about you, we work together to tailor an effective therapeutic approach to your specific needs and set achievable goals.
I have many years of experience with various populations and diagnoses. I mostly work with young adults, but enjoy all ages. I like to challenge my patients, but in a way that is therapeutic and compassionate.
