Throughout her life, Julia has always been fascinated by how the brain works and how it influences thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
In college, she studied the impacts that trauma has on the brain through neuroscience research. Julia always thought she would have a career in a research lab, until she had her first internship at a private practice. There, she saw the impact of group therapy and watched the power of human connection unfold.
