Life can be stressful, chaotic, and overwhelming. Transitions such as college graduation, a new job, separation or divorce, a significant loss, or becoming a new parent can add to our already complicated and stressful lives. Acknowledging that you need help and taking the step of finding a therapist is not easy. It takes both strength and courage. My goal is to help my clients on their personal journey. I believe the power of the therapeutic relationship is what ignites understanding, acceptance, healing, change, and growth.
The goal is not to just persevere, the goal is to overcome challenges and realize your aspirations and full potential. My approach takes a solution-focused and strength-based perspective. I pull from a variety of therapeutic techniques to best address the individual needs of my clients.
I have a diverse background working with adolescents, young adults and adults in all stages of life. Specialty/areas of interest: infertility and grief counseling, bereavement, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions- specifically young adults exploring their identify and new parents adjusting to the transition of parenthood.
