There's grief in outgrowing a version of you, and it doesn't always look like sadness, but can look like staying busy, angry, quiet, or even wildly productive and rewarded as a result.
As a woman of color and second-gen immigrant, I understand what it's like to hold family expectations, or to feel like your success isn't the only part of your story.
My approach is psychodynamic: together, we'll pay attention to patterns, not just symptoms. I'm also autism-informed, which shapes how I think about masking and sensory experiences.
