About
I hold degrees from Harvard University, McGill University, and Adelphi University. I will work with you in an attuned, caring, and deeply respectful way. I help people overcome painful anxiety, shame, depression, relationship difficulties, loss, and the challenges of creating a thriving and meaningful life. My approach involves collaboration and emotional connection, allowing me to understand your unique personal experience. I bring to my work an effective blend of empathy and extensive professional training. I enjoy working with people of different cultural backgrounds and lifestyles.
I use a relational, psychodynamic approach to therapy, which involves gently exploring the anxiety, fear, or depression you may be feeling, and untangling the emotional issues that prevent you from enjoying or succeeding in life. I am also a certified, relationally-oriented psychoanalyst.
I have been a Fully Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Private Practice for over thirty years. I am on the Faculties of the Michigan Psychoanalytic Council, and the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in New York.
