About
Congratulations on your brave choice to reach out to a new therapist! I understand this process can feel daunting and welcome the opportunity to find out if I am a good fit for you. I approach therapy with openness, authenticity, and transparency. I hope to create a safe space for processing, healing, and genuine connection. I believe your therapist works for you and that treatment should be collaborative. I love helping clients discover their truest selves. I take my work very seriously, but don't take myself too seriously and believe in finding humor in the journey to healing.
I take a holistic mind-body approach to my work and ground myself in trauma-informed therapy. I have 5 years of experience practicing EMDR therapy and helping clients release the burden of trauma. I am also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and love helping couples discover and begin to change negative patterns.
I understand that mental health issues can feel like a dark tunnel and I believe my job is to walk beside you and shine a light on a the path forward. I bring my passion for justice and my experience as a member of the LGBTQ+ community to my work with diverse clientele and LGBTQ+ folks. Let's talk about what I can do for you!
