My approach to therapy relies upon you as the expert of your experiences, with me as a collaborative witness to help put the pieces of meaning together. I practice as a trauma-informed, integrative therapist, working with children, adolescents, and adults from an anti-oppressive lens. Theoretically, I practice from person-centered, humanistic, relational, and harm-reductionist perspectives, utilizing trauma-informed CBT, DBT, and IFS interventions. I am also trained in EMDR.
Whether you are looking for relief from collective suffering, a deeper connection to yourself and others, or feeling alone in emotionally painful life experiences and patterns, I hope that together we can create a space of curiosity and compassion.
While I don’t pretend to know the answers, I hope to meet you with warmth, kindness, authenticity, creativity, and moments of humor. I understand there can be various barriers to finding support.
