Hi! My name is Julia and I am a licensed professional counselor and certificate sex therapist with Respark Therapy & Associates. I have lived in Austin for almost my entire life and it has been a dream of mine to become a therapist since I was about 11 years old. Sexual health discussions have never made me uncomfortable in any way, and I like to provide a safe space for clients to discuss these topics.
Many people experience shame about their relationship preferences, kinks, and sexual orientation. I like to help people who may be struggling in this area. I am also passionate about helping clients with a wide range of relational and identity issues. This includes communication problems, work with those who are gender diverse, transitioning, and so forth.
I tend to use an integrative therapeutic approach with clients as I believe that being able to draw from multiple approaches lets me tailor the treatment to each person's individual needs.
