We are all in different places in our lives; my intent is to meet you, the client, where you are at in your life and to support and guide you toward success, whatever that might look like for you. I utilize many different modalities, to include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person-centered Therapy and various trauma treatments. I use active listening, coping skills and breathing techniques. My goal as a therapist, is to continue learning new skills to offer my clients and to be a life long learner in the field of psychotherapy. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, I offer a calm environment to help you feel at ease.
With a background in trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder, I work very hard to build a bridge with you between the past and present. With the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), clients let go of the events that have kept them stuck while building the confidence to move ahead.
At this time, I am able to see clients in person at my cozy cottage in the Old North End in Colorado Springs, CO. I am also able to use telehealth for phone sessions or Zoom sessions, if preferred.
