The Caregiving Therapeutic Support Group helps caregivers learn stress management, coping techniques, and hands-on strategies for maintaining balance in you and your loved one's lives. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker will ensure a therapeutic component in a safe, comfortable environment with like-minded people. Each group meets on a weekly basis.The fee is $30 per group and we meet every Thursdays from 12:00pm - 1:45pm. We are very flexible, and you can come as money times as you like per month. CCC is now offering a therapeutic support group focusing on Women Issues. This is a group dedicated to helping women find their voice and build the necessary skills to be more assertive in life. We will cover topics of self-care, fostering healthy relationships, enhancing self-image, and easing stress. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker runs the Woman's Group. The fee is $30 per group and you can come as many times throughout the month. The groups will be held every Thursday at 7:00pm until 8:45pm. Group for People with General Anxiety Disorder
Generalized Anxiety Disorder is an anxiety disorder characterized by excessive, uncontrollable and often irrational worry. Supports groups can be a stabilizing force in reducing symptoms and improving your quality of life. This group will provide creative ideas and techniques to assist in your recovery. At CCC, the GAD Therapeutic Support Group will provide stress management, coping techniques, ad hands-on strategies to help cope with your anxiety..
