If you’re someone coming to me of your own choosing and are at the point where “okay” isn't good enough anymore, this will contribute a lot to your success in therapy. You may be experiencing problems with your moods, have physical pain, or maybe feel confused about decisions you need to make; maybe you feel disconnected from your self or your world. You may be looking for clarity of purpose, inspiration, and courage. Your need for feeling safe and having love and a sense of belonging in your life is often at the center of many issues, and our work is to forge a pathway to experience these things as you work toward fully healing.
I´ve been practicing for many years and love my work and the people I help. I specialize in somatic (body) psychotherapy, where I observe what the body is saying and work "from the bottom up" to affect change in thoughts, moods and behaviors. I have kept my license in order since 1994, earning continuing education credits as instructed by Washington State.
Having 62 years of life experience under my belt, I have an understanding for many of your challenges and concerns. We’ll use our initial (no charge) phone call to understand what is troubling you and to determine if I can be of help, and I'll only agree to see you if I have the requisite experience.
