As a mental health counselor and coach, I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. I believe being a therapist who utilizes evidence-based practices to help clients overcome a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I am determined that every client leaves each and every session with actionable steps to improve their well-being and mental health.
I am a trained therapist in a variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experience, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Also, I use a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to help clients identify and build on their existing strengths and resources.
The first step with you will be for me to provide psycho-education about what the issues are and then we will formulate a plan to overcome the issues and find happiness.
