Hi, my name is Judy Gallagher, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of New Hampshire. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and other evidence based practices. For over 20 years I have worked with adults facing a multitude of challenges that have included addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult life transitions, and involvement within the criminal justice system. I have experience working with people of different socio-economic backgrounds, cultural affiliations, religions, gender and sexual orientations.
From an early age, I was told I was a good listener and I've always been drawn to helping others. I enjoy what I do; I find it very rewarding to be of service to others and a witness to one's personal growth and healing.
Through open dialogue and active listening, I help clients articulate their needs, values, and desired outcomes. Together, we establish specific, measurable, and achievable goals that will help to facilitate progress toward positive life changes.
