About
Do you feel stuck in your life? Perhaps you experience feelings of depression, anxiety or loneliness. These feelings may be in reaction to problems at work or disappointments in relationships. You may want to connect more with your own wishes and needs so that you can experience engagement in life, and happiness in relationships. Psychotherapy is a journey that can benefit and enrich oneself. The freedom to express painful feelings, in a safe relationship, opens up the possibility of understanding conflicts and experiencing positive emotions, that make life worth living.
I have had postdoctoral training in psychodynamic therapy and positive psychology. I am trained in EMDR to treat trauma and /or build on character strengths and virtues. I provide supervision to doctoral students in psychology.
Please visit my website (www.drjudyclyman.com) to learn more about my four specialty areas which include; overcoming trauma, dealing with pregnancy and postpartum depression, improving performance in sports and the arts, and supervision of therapists.
