About
My philosophy is based on the brain-body connection integrating neuroscience-based therapies to help develop flexible and adaptive emotional strength/resilience. And yes, it is possible to change your brain and therefore your thinking. I believe that we can all make the changes in ourselves we want. My specialties include grief, anxiety and helping couples renegotiate their relationship and marriage using attachment focused therapy.
I offer telehealth video sessions and have a passion for working with couples. Often my clients endured traumatic childhoods and have struggles with addictions including substance abuse. With a background in mediation, another area of specialty is conflict coaching including workplace issues.
My credentials are: Colorado Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional, CEAP. I am a trained EMDR and Flash Technique clinician and teach how the Brain and breath are tools for change. Please call for a free 15 min phone consultation so I may answer your questions about our potential work together.
