I have worked with adults, adolescents, children and families for over 25 years with a variety of presenting issues including but not limited to Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Depression and Behavioral Issues. In the last 20 years, I have also specialized in the treatment of women, and couples suffering from prenatal and postpartum disorders.
I utilize the approach/modality that works best for the presenting issues. For example, a woman with postpartum depression generally needs crisis intervention at first, while an 8 year-old may need a slow, trusting approach before any behavioral intervention. I have been trained behaviorally but also received training in psychodynamic and family systems approaches.
