Marriage & Family Therapist, PhD, LMFT
Location
Are you struggling with a relationship and no longer able to communicate with each other? Do family and friends understand your feelings? Whether you are struggling with: depression, anxiety, fear, negative thinking, any type of abuse and/or trauma, self-esteem, communication in relationships, understanding can create positive changes and diminish symptoms. I am here to help understand what lies underneath these issues. As an experienced therapist who has worked with children, adolescents, and adults for 20 years, I work closely with my clients to develop individual goals that focus on: lessening depression, anxiety, and increasing communication in relationships.
This will in turn increase self-esteem and self worth. You will create the opportunity to value yourself and the roles you play in your daily life. I believe that our desire for self-growth, reducing anxiety, chronic and/or acute pain, and depression is what people long for.
This comes about through a trustworthy, dependable and safe environment. It takes courage to be willing to face what is not working in your life. I can offer support and guidance during current stress or in facing long-term problems. You don't have to struggle alone.

Professional Connections
Judi Bucholtz and I are co-participants in a multi-disciplined peer consultation group, so I've not only had the opportunity to consult with her about either of our clinical work, but we've shared cases as well. She is a superb therapist. She has a quick grasp of the issues, and her interventions are thoughtful and effective. Judi's specialty is working with children, and she seems to have a special talent and sensitivity to connecting with their needs that goes a long way towards helping her clients feel better about themselves.
