My practice offers a safe and relaxing space to begin the psychotherapeutic journey. As a college professor and clinician for many years I offer a wide range of therapeutic approaches that go beyond talk therapy: such as mindfulness practice, mind/body awareness skills, and other psycho-educational practices. I think that good clinical treatment resides in the therapeutic relationship informed by the latest research on the brain and the gut and an overall multi-modal approach to the person(s) sitting across from me.
My specialties include: anxiety and stress reduction, grief and loss across the life-span, adult trauma, gender, ethnic and racial identity concerns, challenges to the creative process, and women focused issues. I am also an experienced clinical supervisor for early career therapists.
