I am a Filipina-American, California based Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). I provide in person therapy in Brea, CA as well as online therapy statewide. Populations that are near and dear to my heart are adult children of immigrant parents, the Filipino Diaspora, the Asian American Pacific Islander community, the Latinx community, and minority communities. I am honored to create a space to provide a familiarity to shared cultural experiences, to hear your stories of cultural impacts on mental health, and to help you honor the invaluable aspects of your culture while also being able to shape your own unique identity.
As an MFT, I am able to provide support in the context of relational dynamics. I can help you to gain insight on how key relationships in your life have impacted you in present day while working towards change such as strengthening your ability to communicate, advocate, connect, and reduce conflicts. For those who are feeling stuck, I also am EMDR trained.
In our sessions, my hope is for you to feel seen as you share your stories, to discover your potential, and to work towards the life you want for yourself.
