As a first-generation Mexican-American, I am sensitive to the multi-cultural needs of my clients. I am fluent in Spanish and English and able to effectively provide therapy in the language in which the individual is most comfortable, in doing so, their goals have a higher probability of being achieved. My clinical experience has provided me with the abilities to work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues related to trauma, depression, stress management, grief, parental support, and substance use.
My primary specialty is working with women who have experienced trauma, individuals with substance use disorders and any individual experiencing workplace stress. Often, we are not able to find our focus in the workplace or in our relationships due to external or perhaps internal concerns that are obstructing our path to personal growth and satisfaction.
