I often work with people who are dealing with emotional shutdown, working through tension in their life or marriage, navigating the pressure of work, or trying to feel like themselves again. Many of my clients say the most valuable part of our work is learning how to stop repeating the same patterns and finally feel like they have tools that work outside the therapy room. My style is warm, direct, and practical. Sessions are not just “talk therapy.” We identify what keeps repeating, what’s underneath it, and what skills can create real change. I offer couples intensives, ADHD evaluations, and individual counseling for adults. My work integrates frameworks such as CBT, DBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, and other evidence-based approaches that promote empowerment, healthy communication, trust-building, and deeper emotional connections.

I'm part of the team at Santos Counseling and I am in-network with UHC/Optum, Aetna, BCBS/Anthem, Cigna, Medcost, and Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance (CBHA).
