J. Pope & Associates, LLC was created to contribute to the betterment of mental health & wellness while improving the functioning of children, youth, adults and families. In addition, our services are tools used to effectively decrease the prevalence and incidence of mental illness, emotional disturbance, and social dysfunction. We strive to provide compassionate solution focused treatment to the inner city and surrounding areas by strengthening communities, building positive relationships, and promoting emotional wellness.
We provide individual, group, and family therapy as well as couples counseling. Advanced trauma treatment, anger & stress management, coping and problem-solving skills, social skills, self-esteem and self-control, familial relationships, and behavior management are among some of the treatment common treatment goals worked on within the therapy sessions.
J.Pope & Associates, LLC will provide comprehensive mental health therapy to address the needs of overall wellness. We pride ourselves in providing mental health care and support that is culturally competent. When appropriate, we work in collaboration with schools, child welfare/foster system, community programs, and other child/family caring agencies.
