I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience. Passionate about helping people grow and change, I use a caring and empathic relationship combined with scientifically researched approaches validated to help clients reach their goals. My main specialities include working with survivors of abuse, individuals and families dealing with addictions, relationship difficulties, adult children of dysfunctional families, depression, and anxiety. I also enjoy working with couples. I use an integrated approach focusing on family systems, internal family systems, the Gottman method, and attachment theory.
Success in counseling is often a matter of having a good connection with your therapist. Most of the clients I see are nervous starting therapy. This is a very common experience. I recommend you start with an intake session to see if this might be the right fit for you.
In addition to individual, couples, and family therapy, I also offer clinical supervision, consultation, and I am an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor and Supervision Mentor. I am currently licensed in Tennessee and Georgia.
