I am passionate about providing culturally sensitive therapy which focuses on Black and Latino individuals and families. I founded Serenity Grace & Joy Counseling (SGJ) with intention and purpose. At SGJ, we walk alongside you with compassion, understanding, and cultural sensitivity.
Our team works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families who are facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, or simply feeling stuck. Together, we focus on bridging the gap between where you are today and where you want to be—so you can move from striving to thriving.
My team specializes in stabilizing and supporting at-risk youth and families. I hold an MSSW from Columbia University and have advanced certification in Child and Family Therapy from NYU. I offer trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches.
