About
We all face challenge in our lives; the way we manage them can make all the difference. I will work to build a caring relationship and a strong therapeutic alliance so you can feel safe to express yourself, share your feelings, your hopes, your dreams, your pain. I listen deeply to what you say, and notice what your body and eyes say when there are no words. Our therapy sessions will be geared toward finding hopeful, strength based paths toward improving your days. I pay careful attention to personal and family history and to current patterns and behaviors in order to help you see new possibilities for yourself.
I work with people of all ages and specialize in working with children, adolescents and emerging adults. I have extensive post-graduate training as well as years of working as an in- school therapist. I am experienced with a myriad of issues including anxiety, divorce, depression and learning challenges.
Curiosity, warmth, humor and playfulness are how I will help you feel comfortable to safely engage in therapy. I use a combination of psychodynamic psychotherapy, REBT, mindfulness and breathwork as catalysts for you to make the changes you hope for. I look forward to working with you.
