I am a masters level therapist that enjoys supporting individuals in reaching their personal goals. I believe in meeting a person where they are. In my therapeutic approach, I take a strength-based approach. I would like each of my clients to feel empowered and confident in their ability to maneuver through their therapeutic journey. I believe the things that we go through in life do not define us; they just shape us. People are resilient and have the ability and strength to overcome obstacles. With support, a desire to overcome/work through your challenges, and positive coping mechanisms, you can succeed.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and self-harm. I have worked closely with the adolescent population in the last three years. My focus has been to build self-esteem, teach coping mechanisms, teach boundaries, encourage healthy decision-making skills, challenge negative self-talk, engage in mindfulness, and encourage assertiveness.
