With my background in physical therapy, substance abuse counseling, and almost a decade in private practice, I have deep empathy for people living in pain, whether physical or emotional, and the experience to help. You don't have to do it alone. I am passionate about treating my clients with the whole-person perspective in mind. I also love to work with couples. After 26+ years of marriage, I have personal wisdom and lots of training, to encourage couples to work at improving their relationship and offer real hope.
Joy, Body & Soul offers an eclectic approach since one size absolutely does NOT fit all. This means your sessions may include talk therapy, psychoeducation, games, walks, mindfulness & somatic techniques, EMDR, as well as Prayer. These modalities prioritize our individual client's needs and optimize spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.
