I am mother-of-two, polyamorous, queer, sex-positive, Jewish/atheist psychotherapist. I specialize in working with teens and adults who are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, consensually non-monogamous, kinky, or who experience chronic pain. Together, we work on issues of exploring identity; communication; vulnerability; boundary setting; jealousy; navigating relationships with friends, family, and colleagues; family dynamics; and more. Many of my clients struggle with complex trauma stemming from being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world, often leading to their experiencing depression, anxiety, or feelings of low self-worth.

My core philosophy is deeply rooted in the AIP model and polyvagal theory. I believe in neuroplasticity and retraining the nervous system, drawing on from techniques from person-centered, acceptance and commitment, mindfulness, and EMDR therapies. I offer EMDR/EMDR 2.0 specifically tailored to neurodivergent individuals.

I have an informal, conversational, and what one client described as an “easy and approachable” style. Many people start therapy not knowing where they need to focus. My role as your therapist is to help you identify and change the things that are no longer serving you. Mutual respect and cooperative exploration are my guiding principles.

Most of my clients are neurodivergent, queer, kinky, and/or consensually non-monogamous. Many are dealing with the complex trauma of being neurodivergent or queer in a neurotypical, hetero/mono normative world. Adolescent Chronic Pain Groups (Virtual)

Chronic pain is isolating. For high school students, who may struggle to attend school, extra curriculars, or social events, the isolation from their peers can be especially damaging. Chronic pain can lead to hopelessness and withdrawal from life. These groups are a place for teens to connect, to support one another, to learn from one another, and to figure out how to live meaningful lives despite their pain. Open to Massachusetts high school age students, online, Mondays 4pm and/or Saturdays at 9am (choose one or both groups) $150 a month for one group. Discount for attending both groups.
