I strongly believes that every individual is worthy of dignity and respect. I follow a person-centered collaborative approach when conducting therapy and seek to offer unconditional positive regard with all my clients. I can provide helpful tools to cope, build your awareness and knowledge of mental health concerns, give a safe nonjudgmental space to process thoughts and emotions, help reshape negative patterns of thought and behavior, build successful relationship, heal from past wounds, and provide appropriate and helpful resources.
I have 6 total years of experience in the field, with extensive experience working with young adults in a university setting. I also have a passion in helping young women and young mothers in particular. I can offer faith-based counseling, but I am open to counseling those from all walks of life and backgrounds.
Ultimately I desire to see individuals grow in meaningful ways leading to increased acceptance and security in who they are as well as a realistic vision for a hopeful future.
