One of my favorite quotes by Brené Brown says, "Shame corrodes the very part of us that believes we are capable of change." No matter what you've been through or where you are now, I strongly believe you have the power to heal and become the best version of yourself. When we go through a challenging or traumatic event, our sense of self can become tainted, we may feel lost, and we may even no longer view ourselves as powerful, strong, or courageous. It can be scary to navigate that alone.
Over the past 14 years I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in mental health and behavioral health settings helping with things like trauma, grief, and mood disorders. I am trained in EMDR as well as other therapies that when combined provide positive long-lasting results. I especially enjoy working with women and teens.
