Hi! I'm Jowanna Bellow, a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. My approach to therapy is all about helping you grow and thrive in your life. In our sessions, you can expect a safe and non-judgmental space to express your thoughts and feelings. I'll listen carefully, provide guidance, and offer support as we work together to help you navigate life's ups and downs. I have experience working with children aged 6 and older, including teenagers and adults. I have the most experience in anxiety, depression, stress, women's health, grief, trauma, PTSD and foster parenting.
I am also a Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner (TBRI) which is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children and their adoptive families.
During a session with me, clients can look forward to gaining clarity about their challenges and goals. Together, we will delve into concerns, leading to a better understanding of issues and the steps needed to move forward. Clients will also gain insight into their own thoughts and behaviors, identifying the underlying causes of their problems.
