Hi, I'm Jovanna Hill, NCC, LMHC. I'm a Latina therapist, a local here in Miami. I received my Bachelor's degree in psychology at FIU also minoring in women's studies and completed my Master's in counseling at FIU as well. In my time in the field, I have had the pleasure of working with teens and adults working through a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and big life stressors. I have a problem-solver mentality and use it to help my clients find the best tools for them to create positive changes.
I help hard workers manage their anxiety and help avoid getting burnt out by re-establishing a work/life balance. Together we'll work on finding out what hasn't been working for you. We'll identify the needs of your mind, body, and environment to help you regain that stability.
I like to have time to get to know my clients and their needs before developing their treatment plans. Our first few sessions are structured to help me learn more about you and your history as well as your perspective on important areas in your life so that together we get to understand the goals that make the most sense.
