I focus on working with young male clients (ages 9-25), using a blend of coaching and therapy, focusing on emotional intelligence, leadership skills, confidence, healthy relationships, academic achievement, and athletic performance. The problems I most often see clients experiencing are low self-esteem/confidence, anger management, high stress levels, anxiety, depression (including bipolar), and video game addiction.
Riser+Tread aims to reach as many young guys as possible, helping them “Step Up + Move Forward.” My work over the last few years as a therapist and coach has mainly centered around guys ages 9-25. Riser+Tread has one mission, to help young guys by providing helpful information online for free, as well as offering paid services
Why? There are a lot of guys struggling, mostly in silence. Stoicism and stubbornness are inherently male traits. We believe that young guys desperately look online for direction and advice on how to feel better, often looking in the wrong places. We want to be the right place for them (and their parents) to look.
