I’m passionate about helping people (and potentially, you!) transform their relationship with difficult emotions, overcome trauma and shame, and embrace their true selves: the weird, the brilliant, the taboo, and everything in between. I provide one-on-one counseling for adults. Clients that typically seek me out are struggling with: people pleasing and over-achieving, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, childhood trauma, and emotionally immature or unstable parents.
I’m trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy: a humanistic, evidence-based approach that draws from attachment theory to change maladaptive responses to the human emotional experience. The modality is highly effective for treating anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, low self-esteem, poor boundaries, and communication difficulties.
