My PhD in Clinical Psychology has given me the knowledge and sensitivity that psychotherapy is a very personal experience. Together we gain the trust to peel the layers of the "false self" away from the true, authentic self. Each person is different, therefore each person's healing has to be treated individually. Human suffering can be healed and I treat trauma from early childhood to the present, treating unhealthy early attachment issues we may use now in relationships. Together we will examine patterns which the patient finds distressing and long standing. I do not give advise, rather I help the patient find the advise within.
I treat individuals and adults. The length of treatment is a decision made by both of us and depends on the presenting issues. Please refer to the specialties I treat: PTSD, anxiety, depression, transgender and more. I work closely with medical doctors if medicine is necessary. Sessions are 50 minutes. I offer Google Duo Meet.
I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a license LPCC and in California I have a license as well. I moved back to New Mexico from CA after practicing there 9 years, in 2013. I also lived in Santa Fe where I practiced for about 20 years. I had a commentary on KVMR, a radio station in California. I am a member of many Organizations.
