Hi friends! I'm happy you're here. My name is Josie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Nashville, TN. I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from Auburn University (war eagle) and my Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. My specialities include eating disorders, body image, OCD, trauma, ADHD, addiction, anxiety, depression, college issues, high school issues, and life transitions. I enjoy working with both adolescents and adults.
In our sessions, I’ll be real with you — honest, compassionate, and here for the tough stuff. We’ll work through challenges together, but we’ll probably laugh too! I believe therapy works best when there’s genuine connection, and at my practice, I focus on that connection, as well as community and collaboration.
My hope is that sitting down with me for an intake feels a bit like grabbing coffee with someone who’s genuinely excited to hear your story. From there, we’ll create goals together that feel meaningful and manageable — a roadmap for where you’d like to go and how we’ll get there.
