Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with adults. I am currently accepting new clients. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment where I will meet you with a balance empathy and understanding, while challenging you to help you meet your goals. Together, we will gain insight on your core beliefs, interrupt unhelpful thinking patterns, learn new coping skills, identify goals and begin to heal and build a life for you to grow. I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, alcohol use and substance use.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify thoughts that are not serving you. Together we can explore the meaning behind these thoughts and ways to combat them to help you feel better and engage in helpful behaviors that can help you create the life you want and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process trauma.
